In “la Chaîne de l’Etoile” of the Provence, where already in the 10th century monks from the Abbey of Saint Victor from Marseilles had a monastery, the Benedictine community of Saint Lioba established her abbey. “Search for God, to prefer nothing whatever to the love of Christ, humble love for the sisters and brothers which God has given to you, never despair in the mercy of God”, is the basic ‘law of her life.
