The Benedictine community is a brotherly community, based on forgiveness. Saint Benedict explicitly said to us: “If you have a dispute with someone, make peace with him before the sun goes down. And finally, never lose hope in God’s mercy.” (RB 4, 73-74)
Every sister and brother knows how many times God has forgiven him, how much he received mercy from God, so, living in gratitude, every sister and brother are demanded to make themselves sources of forgiveness for everyone God puts on their way.
